This blend wasn't supposed to stick around.
It started as a seasonal experiment...one loud, fruit-forward hit that surprised us the moment it hit the grinder. Nice aroma. Good first impression. Then the finish showed up and refused to leave. Spice, depth, and weight hanging on long after the sip, like a groove you catch yourself nodding to without realizing it.
That's where the name came from. Double stop funk...two notes played together, pushing and pulling at the same time. The grounded low end of Sumatra, the structure and warmth of Guatemala, and an anaerobic Colombian riding on top with unapologetic fruit. Tension, harmony, and motion in the same cup.
What started as a one-off turned into something we kept coming back to. And apparently, we weren't the only ones.
This one made the jump from seasonal curiosity to regular rotation. Same groove. Same finish. Still hangs around.
