I am an avid Starbucks fan, but after trying the Post Rick Sumatran Mandheling brew my daughter sent me, I am switching. It was simply delicious - hot or cold. It was smooth, nutty with a hint of sweetness. There was no after taste or bitterness - just straight coffee goodness. It’s so good that I might consider drinking it black (I love cream and sugar in my coffee).

The Puerto Rican sourced Plena coffee is exquisite - full bodied with subtle acidity and earthy chocolate. Being a huge fan of Puerto Rican coffee and having been to several haciendas on the island, I can say the roast by Octave was perfect!
Store bought decaf often tastes like instant coffee with a funny after taste. Smooth Jazz tastes like regular coffee. Also, store bought decaf sometimes surprises me with more caffeine than I expect. Smooth Jazz has no unexpected buzz. 👍👍

My favorite part of this coffee is when I open the bag to grind the beans. The aroma is so rich and full. This blend provides a very smooth flavor and is certainly among my favorite Octave blends. I look forward to each fresh cup. Thanks again for a great coffee experience!
Received my first batch of Octave coffee and it did not disappoint. So much flavour packed in one small cup. With subtle hints of chocolate and fruit, it’s a real treat for your palate. A bit of a lighter roast than what I’m used to, but not lacking in flavour and richness at all… and oh so smooth. Was delicious as a straight up espresso or with ice and a splash of milk for those hot summer days. Will definitely be ordering again. Octave coffee you Rock!

Listen, making mochas lattes with this is so tasty. The citrus notes pair so well with a Ghirardelli mocha sauce & splash of vanilla. 18g in 36g out.
In a v60 the smooth texture is very enjoyable first thing in the morning. 20g 320g water.

So far I've tried the Hip Hop, Classical, and Grunge Rock Blend. All three have been top tier coffee, fresh, roasted perfectly, and shipped fast. The character notes are accurate. I look forward to ordering more.
